I graduated cum laude with a BCom degree in Marketing Management in 2015 and I’m currently in the process of completely my Bcom Law degree part-time. I am currently employed as a Marketing Manager and work with brands to acheive their marketing objectives using packaging as the vehicle of choice. In doing so, I have worked with iconic brands like Amarula to develop innovative campaigns such as their global Name Them Save Them Campaign. I’m a keen runner with a strong appreciation for good coffee, red wine and a really good book. I'm nerdy, in a cool way, and I'm often found with my nose buried in a textbook.

Marketing & Product Manager
• Develop marketing campaigns, using packaging as the marketing vehicle, for our clients’ brands and pitch said campaigns to brands. • Prepare annual marketing budgets for each business. • Management of sponsorship agreements. • Writing and preparing editorial to be placed in industry magazines. • Management of each businesses website and electronic newsletter platforms. • Management of the businesses branding and signage requirements. • Planning and Management of innovation showcase events for the benefit of customers. • Perform market research and compile research reports (pharmaceutical, wine and agricultural industries) • New product development and project management; research possible investment opportunities, work with a team to develop and trial the new product and prepare a proposal for top management consideration. • Prepare quarterly business overviews on each businesses performance, factors reported on; sales, manufacturing variances, stock days, debtors’ days and so forth. • A limited degree of sales and account management: Pick n Pay Retailers. I serve as their primary contact for all their packaging needs across our various packaging divisions.
Customer Service
A client service function with the purpose of managing the progress of clients’ orders from the first point of contact, through the production process, after dispatch of goods and until aftersales service has been provided. Key Responsibilities • Sales order processing • Quote generation • Customer service (follow up and provide the customer with feedback on the status of their order) • Customer relationship management (retain and grow existing customer base) • Distribution support • Administrative duties – generating back order and stock reports • Internal marketing and employee engagement activities

I am currently studying Bcom Law part-time and am set to graduate with distinction in June 2020. I have a good understanding of Commercial Law 1 and 2 and obtained 100% and 90% for these subjects respectively. Additional subjects that I am extremely comfortable with are; Labour Law, Private Law, Law of Succession, Law of Delict, Law of Contract and Property Law, amongst others.

I am an full-blown history nerd and I acheived 87% for History in Matric. On my bookshelf you will find books explaining the events of World War 2 and Apartheid in great detail. In another life, a Historian I would have been.

Although I am English speaking, I grew up in a dual-medium home and attended dual-medium schools. I achieved 85% for Afrikaans in Matric and I've continued to speak Afrikaans after school. Furthermore, I regularly speak Afrikaans in both a social and work environment.

Not only did I do well in business studies in high school, having obtained 89% in Matric, but I also took the business route after school and studied a Bcom Marketing Management degree. At university level, I passed business management and all other business related subjects with distinctions.
