Hello! I am Tamaryn. I am a qualified physiotherapist and a well-trained mommy:) I have a real passion for teaching and have found myself in teaching positions of varying platforms. I completed a 3-month (NQF 8) certificate in Teaching in the Health Professions. Sharing knowledge patiently is a skill that I value. I home-school our two children and learning has become fun in our home. We are always learning. Something fun about me...I love chocolate and coffee!

Teaching our beautiful children brings such joy to me. Learning never ends! While we wait for the bath water to run we play a game of "story telling". Our children love this game but it goes to show that grammar, sentence structure, memorisation and literature can be learned through a game, while the bath water runs.
Physiotherapist
My day to day is filled up by variety of things. I home school our children and work as a locum physiotherapist. I used to be involved in the administrative work of our family which kept me very busy but now that I am not involved in the administration side of things I have time to tutor and share knowledge.

BSc Physiotherapy - Stellenbosch University
I am a registered physiotherapist. I now only work part-time as a physiotherapist and would love to fill my other available time slots with teaching opportunities. I believe my education has been broad and in-depth. I also completed 2 years of a BA (Majors: English & History) degree through UNISA as a hobby.

Despite not completing my BA degree (Major: English and History), I completed two years of this degree as a "fun side line hobby". I was working as a physiotherapist while studying English for fun. Literature is an absolute favourite.

Learning English as a foreign language could seem very daunting. Are you feeling nervous about starting a conversation or maintaining a conversation? I am a bubbly, easy-to-talk-to person and making conversation comes naturally to me. I can assist you with this. I look forward to using topics of interest as a medium for learning English.
