I’ve been approached by lots of students with lots of different questions and issues regarding skills or content for the past few years. While I’ve been tutoring informally before 2019, in 2019, my friends and I established a formal Tutoring Portfolio at our school to ensure that learners always have access to the help that they need.

I completed my matric year at Thomas More College in KZN with a 90% aggregate and National Top 1% in Afrikaans, English, History, Life Orientation and Life Sciences.

Maths is a subject that always took the longest for me to grasp. Because I had to work hard at it (much more than my other subjects) I have a solid grasp of its principles as well as the methods. It is a subject that is extremely enjoyable and be a veritable ‘mind gym’.

History has always been fun! It’s a subject that is extremely versatile and allow for a lot of interaction between tutor and student. I love teaching it because of the fun conversations debates! I love how it pieces together a picture of why today looks how it does!

Biology
Biology is what I’m most passionate about! It has inspired me to study medicine. Connecting the theory and the surrounding world generates awe for the surroundings. I love using diagrams and connecting body systems or relating botany to what we’ll see in a garden.
