I go to the practice a few days a week where I conduct 8-14 eye tests a day. I get to discuss the health of the patients eyes along with their refractive errors and choose a spectacle frame that will suit their lifestyle and personality. I absolutely love people and I believe everyone walking into the practice should leave a better person.

I always knew I wanted to work with people and my curiosity about human anatomy led me to become an Optometrist. I studied at the University of Johannesburg where I spent 5 years in Skoonveld Residence. I truly loved all the different cultures and our study material. Being in the field for more than 6 years I am more curious then ever. I was lectured by the most amazing lecturers who taught me wonderful things. I have a passion for teaching and people. I am passionate about Afrikaans. I have created an Instagram page (giggelgeelgesegdes) where I post some of the most hilarious Afrikaans idioms that will have you roar with laughter. I especially love reading Afrikaans books. I hope you choose me as your tutor. My passion for Afrikaans is contagious.

I am an Optometrist with more than 6 years of experience. In my optometry course (which was a four year degree) we had microbiology, human anatomy and physiology, pathology, biochemistry, physics and pharmacology. How the body works makes me tick. I love biology and I am very passionate about teaching. Hopefully we can join hands to ensure a better future for all.
