I am a full time student, but in 2019 I was a tutor for a third year Ecology module's fieldwork component.

I have completed my BSc. Ecology and also BSc. (Hons) Plant Science (cum laude). We only have the graduation ceremony in April for my Honours degree, but please find a full academic record attached to my CV. I am currently furthering my studies with an MSc. Plant Science degree.

Geography
Geography was my favourite subject at school by far. I was also the top achiever at my school in Matric for this subject, with an average of 89%. I am passionate about Geography and still work with the subject matter in my day to day studies, as for example I make maps in ArcGIS and need a very good understanding of this subject in order to excel at my academic discipline (Ecology).

Afrikaans
I truly love the Afrikaans language. I had a distinction for this subject in Matric and in addition to this, I also took Additional Afrikaans (Gevorderde Afrikaans) and had an average of 90% for this subject by the end of Matric. I read a lot of Afrikaans literature and poetry and have an excellent understanding of this language. I will be able to inspire any student to not only excel at this subject, but appreciate the language.

Biology
Biology can be a very challenging subject, but I have always not only excelled at this subject, but also thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a distinction for this subject at school and have built my entire academic career around this subject, as I am currently busy with my MSc. in Plant Scienc. Therefore, I have an exceptional good grasp of the subject matter and am passionate about conveying my knowledge and passion.

I truly enjoyed Microbiology during my undergraduate studies and had distinctions for almost all of the Microbiology modules. I believe I will be able to help student not only survive Microbiology, but excel at it.

Ecology and Environmental Biology
My life's passion is Ecology! For this reason I am currently busy with an MSc. in Plant Science with a specialization in Ecology. I had distinctions for every Ecology related module I took during my undergraduate studies and believe I will be able to convey this passion and knowledge to the students I teach. I have also tutored Ecology at third year level at the University of Pretoria.
