I did Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Life Sciences at school and I loved it. I studied Bsc Biochemistry and Zoology, and I recently completed Honours in Biochemistry with distinction. I have tutored Mathematics to students from Grade 4 to Grade 9 and love seeing my students excel. I overexpressed and purified the Rift Valley fever virus nucleocapsid during my practicals, which can be used as an alternative to an antigen in ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) and lateral flow assay (rapid diagnostic test).

I am a proficient user on Microsoft Excel, which I achieved by learning by myself and then using it at my previous work, by setting up worksheets that contained values (water usages, customer complaints etc) and trends. I also gave numerous free lessons for basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel) to my community at the Airforce base Makhado.
