I am a registered legal practitioner with the High Court of Zimbabwe. Currently working as a research fellow at a local human rights law NGO in Zimbabwe. Previously was employed as a paralegal in Johannesburg and my work required extensive knowledge of Civil Procedure, Case Law on motor collisions and basic knowledge of the insurance field. I have a particular interest in commercial/corporate law and would like to work in an environment whose main area of focus is in the various forms of commercial/corporate law. My other interests are in international trade, public international law, and constitutional law. My aim is to gain the necessary experience within the legal fraternity that will serve as a platform to prepare me to work at international institutions like the World Trade Organization and United Nations.
I believe in paying it forward as I was helped a lot during my LLB by tutorials and exam prep classes. I also had the privilege to tutor first year students for a year. I would love to help other young people to achieve good marks.
