In 2019 I completed a BSc with majors in Biochemistry and Microbiology through UNISA. Not only did this allow me to expand my knowledge in these fields but I was also able to gain first-hand experience of distance learning – along with its challenges and advantages. In 2020 I completed an Honours degree in Biochemistry at the University of KwaZulu Natal. I completed both degrees with distinction and am confident that I can assist you in mastering not only the exciting concepts of science but also the art of building skills around the organisation of study schedules and sustainable note-taking. I am passionate about science and have a relentless drive to assimilate and share knowledge of the intricate concepts that make up this wonderful discipline! Hi there. My name is Miss Croft and I am a qualified foundation phase teacher and I’m currently finishing my Honours in Inclusive Education. I am passionate about teaching and horses. I am an animal lover with a horse and two dogs.

I have 38 years of teaching experience. I taught both in South Africa and in the UAE. I have a masters degree and a Diploma in Remedial Education. I am very patient with my students and try to make the lessons applicable to real life situations so that the lessons are meaningful. The last school that I taught at was Ashton International College in Ballito.(Virtual Department). I have taught both offline and online. I am highly skilled in online teaching and am experienced in numerous online platforms. I have used many different teaching strategies in my lessons. In the UAE I have used Differentiation to cater for the needs of all my students so that all students will benefit from my lessons. I have used manipulatives in mathematics so that students learn through a hands on experience. I have used the following curricula:- American curriculum, South African (CAPS), Cambridge and IEB curricula. I am passionate about teaching and experience a great joy when my students excel. My motto is that every child has the ability to learn. Failure resides in the incorrect teaching strategy.
