I am a young talented mathematician with the goal of making an impact and contributing my own quota to Africa’s development through the knowledge of mathematical sciences.

When I was 18, I climbed Mount Everest. Not metaphorically—I literally climbed the highest mountain on Earth. While I was hiking, I thought about quitting approximately 5,000 times. (And that’s a lowball estimate.) But despite the high winds, low altitude, mental and physical fatigue, and trail mix overdose, I kept going. I’m that person. Once I say I’ll do something, it will happen. Now I apply that perseverance to everything I do. That everything includes coordinating and planning different ways in which will make various subjects easily understood by creative minds. I have acquired honours degree in mathematics. I worked in the Department of Applied Mathematics as a student assistant for the first and second year courses. My responsibility was to help students with problems they faced during their weekly tutorial sessions and for marking these problem sets handed in by the students. I also helped them with work they did not understand during lectures.
