Hi there. I am a third-year Bachelors in accounting student currently studying at Stellenbosch University. I have a passion for sport, people and wildlife. My goal through tutoring is understanding rather than parrot learning, parrot learning is stressful, whereas with the understanding you can solve any question, even if you have not encountered it yet. I strive for and feel pride in the success of my students. I will also try and make the work less boring as the mindset that you come into a session with has a great impact on the outcome and learning from that session. School doesn't always work for everyone but together we can make it work for you.

Experience / Education

I have just finished my third year in Bachelors and accounting and will be graduating in march. Throughout the last three years I have been tutoring various students at high school and primary school level, I thoroughly enjoy this work as I believe i am helping to shape someone else's future and their academic understanding. I have previously tutored high school learners up to grade 12 and primary learners from grade 4 to 7 in various subjects but mainly maths, accounting, biology and English.

I have always enjoyed maths, my current field of study deals a lot with financial maths and statistics. I have tutored high school maths for the past 3 years, from grade 10 through grade 12, as well as Primary school maths for the last 2 years for grade 4 through 7, with great focus on understanding and enjoyment of this subject which a lot of students lack.

Managerial Accounting
Out of all the subjects we encounter in my degree this is by far my favourite, as it is the most practical. I also find it the most challenging and rewarding, I have always done fairly well in management accounting through. The subject matter is still very fresh with me and my notes on this subject are quite in-depth.

I am currently studying this subject in my degree still. I always enjoyed accounting, there is always a challenge to it and a pattern to figure out. I have been tutoring high school accounting for the past 3 years from grade 10 to grade 12. I believe it is an easy subject in which you can earn easy marks to boost your average.

Biology
I have always had an interest in biology which has turned into a fascination with fitness and nutrition and I therefore always did my best to understand the subject. As well as enjoying the subject as a whole, therefore I believe I can pass on this passion and further a students understanding of the subject.
