I have thousands of hours experience in helping students to master the English language, from 3-year olds to adults. After five years of teaching 30 hours a week in Asia, I now teach Cambridge curriculum English. In my spare time I cook, bake, write children's books and develop English language practice worksheets for children. I have a Master's degree in Sociology and taught at university level for four years. Lessons depend on the student's age and learning goals: Young children learn best through exploration, games, stories and songs. Learning should be fun! I build personal relationships with my students in order to speak to their individual aptitudes. Older students enjoy learning English with a combination of independent learning, QnAs, conversation practice, test support and a healthy dose of interest in English language popular culture. I find that adults prefer to study vocabulary on their own and rely on me for grammatical and pronunciation support, as well as conversation practice. Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your own or your children's learning needs.
