I am a junior school math teacher who prefers one-on-one teaching. This allows me to give quality tutoring, building the learners confidence in their subject, as well as their curiosity. I am passionate about teaching and children getting the love and educational attention they deserve. I am strict, yet caring, and will try all I can to help those who I tutor. I believe that every child has an ability to excel, one only needs to unlock that potential then carefully and patiently nurture it. I am adventurous and love traveling. I hope to travel the world and meet lots of different people, so that I can learn first hand about their culture, and most importantly, how their education is like. I am fun, tell corny (yet funny) jokes, and I can be both strict and caring. I take a leaner-centered approach, and I love to research different ways to teach a lesson.

Au Pair/Tutor
When I started teaching, I ended up travelling too far to get to work. I taught at such an amazing school, and learnt so much! However, I then decided to start Au Pairing and tutoring, because I prefer one-on-one lessons with learners. I absolutely adore my au pair children, and it has been marvelous watching them grow as I tutor math. Most days I au pair, other days I do promotional work, but mostly I am slowly packing up my and my husbands house, as we are planning to go travelling!

BEd Intermediate Phase (with Distinction) - University of Pretoria
I studied to be a primary school math teacher. I completed my degree with distinction, as well as earning the Golden Key award. I can also teach primary school music, and music theory 1, although my passion is in teaching Mathematics.
