The first thing I do in the is greeting learners, do morning ring with different activities in each table. Then I introduce the theme for the week. Toilet routine, workbook activity, after the activity it's eating time. After the break, Indoor play and outdoor. Then it's rest and departure time.
Currently studying towards BeD Foundation Phase.
Mathematics it's a bit difficult for young learners to understand, they need a teacher who understands how to use different skills to get the learners understand and analyse it. I have more than two years of teaching foundation phase mathematics

In some of the schools, learners are not taught in their mother tounge, which becomes a problem at the later stage in life. We live in a country that have 11 official languages and older people don't understand English. Teaching learners my home language is a gift that I wish to share with others.

Getting a small child to know how to read is a great achievement as a teacher. In my years of teaching I realised that some learners struggle to read from grade R to Grade 3. As a teacher it's my duty to make sure that they know how to read and write to prepare them for the future.
