I am Nillette Erasmus. I am 25 years old. I live in Hekpoort , a small town near Magaliesburg, with my husband. I love nature and art. I am in fact currently busy starting my own Blueberry farm. I have my BEd degree in Foundation Phase Education and enjoy teaching and learning.

teacher/tutor
I taught/tutored for a family in 2019 for about six months. In that time I planned and presented lessons in Mathematics, English FAL, Afrikaans Home Language and Life Skills. I also created lesson material and assessments. I taught three boys in Grade 1 and 3. I really enjoyed working individually with the learners as well as in a group.
Mathematics and Natural Science teacher
I worked as a Mathematics and Natural Science teacher at Woodland Preparatory School for a year. The school is very small so we had to teach multi-grade classes. I had Grade 6 and 7 together in one class, Grade 4 and 5 together and Grade 2 and 3 together. I had to teach Mathematics to Grade 2-7 and Natural Sciences to Grade 4-7. Every day we had a routine. I started off with a weekly and than we had the topic of the week, we discussed the topic for example measurement, what we now and what we do not know and than after the lesson the learners did some work in their textbooks as well as extra worksheets. At the end of the week we had a topic test to revise and assess. I believe in making Mathematics fun so I integrated some math games and activities into the lessons as well.

I finished my BEd degree in Foundation Phase Education in 2019 at the North West University. During that time I received a Golden Key certificate.
National Senior certificate - Le-Amen
I finished my National Senior certificate in 2015. I had Afrikaans Home language, English FAL, Tourism, Mathematics Literacy, Life Orientation, Life Sciences and Agriculture Sciences as my subjects.
