My name is Jason, I am 25 years old. I completed my Bachelor's, and more recently my Honor's Degree in Computer Science at UNISA. I also have industry experience working for a year in Sandton as a Software Developer. My research project for my Honours Degree involved investigating how the EV3 LEGO Mindstorms Robotics set could be used as a medium to enrich the teaching of programming to students at undergraduate level so I am very familiar with the difficulties and psychological roadblocks students face when learning to use programming languages. I often assist my younger brother who is taking Information Technology as a subject in high school as he learns to write code and he recently achieved 90+% for the end of the term.

I received 92% for the final Theoretical Computer Science III exam in my 3rd year of University. I find this subject very easy to understand and to explain to others. I still own a copy of the textbook. I also received 93% for my final mark for Formal Logic III in 3rd year and I received a distinction for Formal Logic at Honors Degree level.

I started coding in high school at the age of 15 in 2011. Since then I have been coding virtually non stop. I did very well with programming in university and passed Advanced Programming in my 3rd year of my Bachelors degree with 85%. I also have industry experience as a Software Developer and I have used the following languages in my time: Delphi Android (Java) C++ C# Visual Basic MATLAB SQL Javascript WebGL HTML
