I am a student at the University of Cape Town, studying Astrophysics and Applied Mathematics. I matriculated in 2015 as the Dux student of Curro Bankenveld in Witbank, Mpumalanga. I enjoy interacting with people, and Mathematics and Physical Science were my favourite subjects in school. I studied medicine for two years, and so I have a wide knowledge of human biology. I also received distinctions in all of my subjects, and am an avid reader. I speak both Afrikaans and English, and can understand basic Xhosa.

Mathematics was my favourite subject in school, and I have completed Mathematics and Applied Mathematics courses at the University of Cape Town. I believe in understanding the mathematics behind a problem to enable students to solve simple and more complex problems using a ground-up method.
