I have been working as a Statistics lecturer for over 15 years. I started as a tutor in 2005 and I got a lecturing post in 2008 at Sefako Makgatho university. I am passionate about learning new skills and I have completed a number of statistical training courses. I have a masters degree in Statistics and studying PhD in Biostatistics part time at University of Witwatersrand. I have taught both large groups of about 400 students and small groups of 70 students. With my knowledge and experience, I am eager to make full use of it.

Present Statistics lectures to first year BSC and Honours students. Prepare tutorials, tests and exams. Do practicals with students on data analysis in SAS, STATA, R and excel.

I studied Statistics 1,2 and 3, Mathematics 1,2 and 3, Physics 1, 2 and 3, Biology 1 and English.
I like teaching and also working with numbers. I have extensive tutoring experience in Statistics. I have produced a lot of students with high pass rate. I am passionate about helping students improve in their academic work. I believe that passion, experience and knowledge are the qualities you are looking for in a tutor.
