Hi. My name is Sli. Maths and science is my passion! I find so such joy in sharing my knowledge with students who are willing to ace their studies. I'm an Industrial Engineer by profession, I hold a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand. I tutor Maths (grade 8 to 12) and Physical Sciences (Grade 10 to 12), all day on weekends and in the evenings on weekdays. If you need help with Maths and Physics, kindly contact me for arrangements. I am an Engineer by profession. I love Maths and Physical Sciences. Maths is what I do on a daily basis. Physical Sciences is one of the subjects that I’ve achieved distinctions in for my matric. Hard work, dedication, time management and getting the best tutor for those extra lessons and consultations for your studies is the ways to go about doing extremely well in your studies. Beyond helping students to understand the topics, concepts and principles taught in their maths and physics subjects, I also help them with enhancing their logical and analytical thinking processes as they approach assignments and practice question papers for these subjects. Maths and science require logic and analytical skills. As much as students might have an understanding of what is required of them in tests and exams, they also need to learn a logical way of communicating their answers in such a way that examiners will clearly understand what the students are trying to do, giving students the opportunity to maximise their tests/exam scores. I believe the ‘one-size-fits-all’ concept does not apply in tutoring, hence I make it my main responsibility to understand the needs of each individual student and to offer them tutoring sessions that are relevant to their specific needs.
