I have an undergraduate degree in Textile and Polymer Science and a postgraduate honours degree in Polymer Science. My passion for chemistry and interest in research encouraged me to pursue a Master's in Polymer Science. I have experience as a chemistry tutor for first-year modules. My role as a tutor primarily focused on assisting students with laboratory report work. In addition to my tutoring experience, I also work as a writing consultant for the Stellenbosch university writing centre.

Consultants assist writers with their writing process and ask questions which allow the writer to think about how they might revise their work, at the end of the process, the writer will have a well structured written piece.
The role includes but not limited to facilitating the participation of students in the program. Completing administrative duties such as communicating deadlines and starting initiatives for the benefit of students and communities.
I assist first-year chemistry students at Stellenbosch University with laboratory work. This involves me helping students interpret results as well as explaining phenomenons observed during a practical.
I completed an undergraduate degree in Textile and Polymer Science at Stellenbosch University. I furthered my studies by completing an honours degree in Polymer Science. My passion for chemistry and research led me to pursue a Masters in Polymer Science.
I am now an MSc Polymer Science candidate. I have a strong background in chemistry. I specialized specialize in polymer science which falls into the discipline of chemistry, more specifically organic chemistry. I also have experience tutoring for university-level chemistry.
