I have tutored Mathematics both as voluntary work and as a private tutor. Through my experience I have noted that many students generally dread the subject and that in itself affects their performance aside from the subject content itself. I personally thoroughly enjoy mathematics and work towards my students being comfortable with it at the very least and enjoying it too in the best case scenario.
