I am an academic enthusiast. I love all forms of knowledge and I have a passion for teaching others as it gives me the opportunity to not only help someone, but to contribute to the sharing of knowledge. I have 5 years of tutoring experience and use each student's unique approach to learning to always boost their understanding. My other passions include mathematics, software and physics. I am a maths tutor for now, but I hope to soon tutor software and physics too. Being able to help even more students would be amazing for me. I excelled at school and did my first 2 years of electrical engineering meaning that I have been exposed to knowledge at advanced levels and I would love to help others achieve the marks and understanding needed to share in that experience. In terms of Maths, I have knowledge across various topics that create the subject of maths and would be absolutely thrilled if you chose me to be your tutor. I am read to give my all to ensure that you succeed.

I began work as a student in a pet store during high school. After I left engineering I worked there full time whilst trying to decide properly on my chosen degree and was promoted to assistant manager (despite being the youngest employee)
I have (and continue) to tutor Mathematics. I have done private jobs (family and friends) and have also done work for tutoring companies as well.
I completed Electrical Engineering up to second year. I loved this degree but through it I found a greater love for software and am hoping to return next year to begin a new degree in computer science.
I matriculated with 7 Distinctions and the award for top student at my high school. I also received full academic colours every year from grades 4-12.
Maths is more than a subject for me, it is a basic means along which we learn to think logically, analyse data and use facts and patterns to make decisions. I have a true appreciation and respect for Mathematics and I have found that teaching others to also appreciate maths is the real first step in raising marks. One cannot engage with a subject properly unless one first enjoys and appreciates the work. My experience with Mathematics tutoring has taught me that it is not sufficient to memorise formulas and try follow examples with no understanding hoping to be able to do well in maths. Theory is needed. I focus my lessons on analysing the theory behind the maths concepts after which we work through examples together. I do revision at the beginning and end of each lesson to ensure the concepts really sink in. This is the general lesson plan I use but I always take the student's opinion into account and construct the content and pace of the lesson according the student's needs. These factors combined with my enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for tutoring make me the best tutor for Mathematics.
