My name is Nikita, I am 24 years old and I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. ๐ I graduated from the University of the Western Cape with a bachelors degree in Education. ๐ฉโ๐ซ I have taught English for 1 year and 10 months. I have taught English as a home language and second language in a classroom setting. I have worked with students between the ages of 13-16 and I have tutored students between the ages of 8 and 10. โ I am deeply passionate about teaching as well as meeting new people. ๐คนโโ๏ธ My teaching style is fun and interactive. I believe that my lessons need to be adapted in a way that my students can relate to it and will be interested in what they are learning.

I taught grade 8 and 9 English and in 2018 I taught grade 10. In 2018 I was the planner for grade 10 English and im 2019, I was the a planner for grade 8. Being the planner means that I am in charge of setting up all the lessons as well as tasks, tests and exams for that particular day and making sure that all the teachers have the necessary resources for each term. I taught classes of up to 43 students in each class. Each lesson would consist of an introduction to a new topic or a recap of the previous days work, a body and a conclusion, conclusion being homework or activities done together as a class.
