Greetings, I am 26-year-old female from Johannesburg. I have a BSc Life and Environmental Sciences (Geography and Environmental Management) degree, a BSc Geography (Honours) degree, and an MSc Environmental Management degree all from the University of Johannesburg. I am also currently employed as an Environmental Consultant in a consulting firm. I am a well-spoken, kind, and organized individual. How serious I take my work is seen in my good academic transcript and how far I have advanced in my academic career. I have sound knowledge in GIS, climatology, pedography, urban tourism, economic geography, environmental legislation, and research writing. I am more than willing to transfer my knowledge and expertise to people within these fields. My aim is not only to tutor but to be a cheerleader, motivator and someone students can count on. I will do my best to make sure that students do well in their school work.

Environmental Consultant
My current position as an Environmental Consultant involves undertaking environmental monitoring and compliance auditing, environmental authorizations (including Basic Assessments and Scoping & Environmental Impact Assessments/Environmental Management Programmes), Water Use Licence applications, Mining Right applications, rehabilitation plans. I have also been involved in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The job has an exciting outdoor component where visits are made to mines and landfill sites.

I have recently completed my M.Sc Environmental Management coursework degree. My research project delved into the impact of Eskom coal-fired power stations on ambient air quality. The coursework component was in-depth and consisted of a thorough look at climate change and conservation.
BSc Geography (Honours) - University of Johannesburg
My research writing skills were developed in this course when I undertook a project investigating the recycling behavior of residents in Alexandra Township. I have obtained a thorough knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, and Environmental Sustainability.
BSc Life and Environmental Sciences (Geography and Environmental Management) - University of Johannesburg
I have completed a B.Sc Life and Environmental Sciences degree majoring in Geography and Environmental Management. Through this degree, I have learned the fundamentals of the environmental field, and have also been exposed to other science modules like Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry.

I have also recently completed my MSc in Environmental Management. Currently, I am working as an Environmental Consultant at a consulting firm where I am applying my theoretical knowledge in the real world. As a result, I would make a good tutor for environmental science.
