Named Khathutshelo Makatu (Khathu), I reside in Kelvin, Johannesburg and I matriculated in 2019 at Marlboro Gardens Combined School with a 100% pass rate. I have achieved a Bachelor's pass rate with 4 Distinctions and become a Top Achiever for Computer Studies and Business Studies. I will be currently studying Software Engineering and also aim to help other students in areas that they seek assistance in. It is said that one can truly succeed with the help of others and indeed with tutors helping students in areas of concern they can definitely improve and be the best version they can towards their studies. I believe that as time progresses with assisting students they will have more understanding of a certain topic they do not understand and will be able to tackle problems they could not before. Also with humour involved, I aim to make students comfortable to freely interact during tutoring sessions without feeling shy or nervous.

I studied Computer Application Technology in my High Schooling years and we learned about HTML (HyperText Markup Language). Also with the love and passion for the subject, I became a top achiever for the subject and I have decided to take a career path in Computing. I have assisted my previous classmates in areas such as HTML as many did not understand the coding language. Indeed it is an area that the Department of Education questions on in exam papers. I will be able to explain and give practical examples and past exam papers for students to ace the topic. As they say, practice makes perfect.

Business Studies
I started Business studies in my beginning years of High School and ended up matriculating with the subject. In matric, I received a distinction of 85% and consecutively was in the top 3 Top achievers for the subject. It was not just only by hard work but was for the love and passion of the subject. I enjoyed receiving assistance from my former Business Educator however I noticed that a lot of learners were struggling with the subject, I believe that with the assistance of another person, one will overcome their challenges within the subject.

I am the best tutor for the subject as I am able to pace with children's progress in reading as I took Home Language English as a subject in my High School learning years. I might as well state that I have experience in training and practicing my younger siblings in reading their school books in languages such as English and Setswana. However, I am willing to train in any field of language.
