As a Mentor, tutor and an Advisor at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and YASLIO, I am constantly faced with having to find new ways to deliver information and ensure that everyone understands and completes tasks. I have unexpected challenges which I have to solve on the spot as I deal with different people from diverse backgrounds who have various skills and deficiencies. This has refined my communication skills with my peers, those younger/below me and with management.
I was selected as Research Assistant to join the Centre for Civil Society research team conducting a KZN exit poll survey on Elections Day.
