I have very many years experience as a primary school teacher and as a high school and university English teacher and lecturer. I am presently lecturing English part-time at Wits University and am tutoring English and Afrikaans to primary and high school learners. I also help primary school learner with Maths. I enjoy working with young people and my students and learners are doing well at school and university.

I have much experience in teaching primary school Math. I enjoy the subject and use examples from everyday life to make the subject as interesting as possible. I work on all areas of the Maths syllabus and all learners to do many exercises and to complete old exam papers. I ask the school teacher to give these to me.

I am bilingual and enjoy teaching Afrikaans. I use current textbooks and magazine and newspaper articles in my teaching. I help learners with pronunciation and new vocabulary. We spend time conversing which helps with confidence building and other aspects.
