I have been involved in music for 40 years and have started string orchestras and youth orchestras all over Gauteng, including the traditional townships. I am a member of the gauteng Philharmonic Orchestra and was tutti extra for the JPO for 9 years before they stopped operating. I lead the Viola section of Pro Musica for 6 years. I was member of PACOFS Symphony, Operette and Opera orchestras during my student years and led the violas in the musicals I play viola and violin professionally and perform on both instruments regularly in chamber music concerts all over Gauteng and Mpumalanga.

My name is Nanette and I am a vocal teacher. I studied and obtained my Btech Music Degree at Thwane University of Technology. I enjoy teaching and seeing how each student make progress ad a singer and musician.

I'm a trained piano player having studied at UCT where I did 2 years training in the Classical stream followed by 3 years training in Jazz. I graduated in 2006. Since that time I have been working as a music teacher at various local music schools as well as working as a performing musician. My performing experience includes working as a session musician for various cover bands in Dubai as well as working in local bands. Currently I am a member of a duo called "Mistura". The type of music we perform is light tangos, classical pieces and arrangements of pop songs (which I arrange).

I have been active in the music industry and living my dream for the past 13 years as a musician. I have recorded over 50 original works of music in a professional setting. I have shared the stage with most big names in the South African performing arts industry including The Parlotones, Jack Parrow, aKing, Glaskas, Francious Van Coke. Prime circle, Zebra and giraffe and loads more. I qualified top of my class, specialising in Guitar as my main instrument from the Academy of Contemporary music in the United kingdom through the Campus of Performing arts in jhb under the tuitalage of Deon Kruger (the Narrow). I have placed in the top 3 of the national schools music competition "Rockspaaider" 2 times, and in 2008 won the award for best songwriter and composer in the country. I am very passionate about Music and teaching and always look to improve myself and my skills. I believe one can learn even if you teach someone else. Music is universal and beautiful.

I am currently a second year jazz guitar student at the University of Cape Town and a freelance musician.

I am a drummer and drumming teacher who has completed Rockschool grade 6 drumming exams and I am very enthusiastic about musical arts.

I am a Music Business student at Campus of Performing Arts. I have had classical vocal training for seven years and completed Cambridge AS music in November of 2015.
